NFCA's Appetite for Awareness- Sunday, September 23, 2012!

One of the best Gluten-Free events is coming up this Sunday- the NFCA’s Appetite for Awareness 2012.  The National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) is holding it’s Appetite for Awareness on Sunday, September 23, 2012 in Philadelphia.
This is one of my favorite gluten-free events!  They have an awesome venue, located in The Historic Strawbridge Building which is huge- and they fill it to the brim with GF Vendors ranging from companies that have GF products, Chefs from local GF restaurants, book authors and stores that carry GF items.  It is not a far drive from Long Island and it is definitely worth the trip.  I last attended the even in 2010 and had an amazing time.  I ate non-stop all day and met some wonderful new vendors and attendees.   You can still get tickets on the NFCA website- http://www.eventbrite.com/event/3391133973 for $50 early bird admission through September  22nd.  There are also Student rates ($25 available), children rates 12 and older ($20) and children under 5 are free!
You can find out all the information by going to their website http://www.celiaccentral.org/a4a/
which has a list of vendors and chef demos.   They even have a raffle of a 1 year lease of a Mercedes Benz up for grabs!

The Appetite for Awareness is one of Philadelphia’s premier gluten-free food fest!
