The Gluten Free and Allergen Free Expo is coming to the Meadowlands on September 7th and 8th!

I’m excited that the Gluten & Allergen Free Expo is coming to the NY metro area- and will be at the Meadowlands in Secaucus NJ this September.   On September 7th and 8th at 10am the doors open, but there is an “early bird” ticket you can purchase that will allow you to hit the vendor booths an hour early!  This fair is unique because it travels all over the US and it’s great that is will be in our area.

GFAF Expo will have over 100 vendors there sampling and selling their products.  The vendors are 100% Gluten-Free  and many also have products that are free of the top 8 allergens! Tickets can be purchased in advance (www.gfafexpo.com) or at the door. Beat the crowds and purchase a 9 am Early Bird Admission Ticket for $35 for adults and $10 for children ages 3 – 12. General Admission Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for children ages 3 – 12. Want to attend both days? Two day General Admission passes are available for $30.

For more information on the Gluten and Allergen Free Expo, visit www.gfafexpo.com; follow them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/gfafexpo; and Twitter via www.twitter.com @GFAFExpo

Hope to see you there!

Betty Crocker to introduce two new Gluten Free products: GF Sugar Cookies and GF Rice Flour Blend

I’m so excited to announce that Betty Crocker is coming out with two all-new additions to the already delicious line of Betty Crocker Gluten Free baking products available!  There will now be a Gluten Free Sugar Cookie mix and an All-Purpose Gluten Free Rice Flour Blend.  These products will join the shelves with their Gluten Free Brownie, Cookie and cake mixes.  The boxes have a new design that I really like as well- it’s easy to read and the “Gluten Free” really stands out so you can’t miss it among the rest of the products in the store!

Anytime I need to bring a baked good somewhere I love baking the Betty Crocker Gluten Free Brownies- it is a treat everyone enjoys and those there who are not on gluten free diet can’t even tell that they’re GF!  General Mills, through MyBlogSpark was nice enough to send me an awesome gift pack containing a baking tool set and an 8’’ Square Cake Pan- which I can’t wait to use to bake my next treat!
